Citroen DS3 Cooling Fan module / Resistor Fault. This little Citroen DS3 came into us to have a look at due to the engine cooling fan running at full speed. My problem is when i bought the car the outside temperature was not working so reading on the forum, have found out that the temperature sensor is on the right hand mirror of the car. Posted February 19, 2015. It seems some kind of software issue. I took fuel level sensor with fuel pump out of the tank and measured resistance. "Full tank" resistance was about 79 ohms and "empty tank" resistance about 400 Ohms. Currently I have about half full and resistance is 250 ohms. I assume level sensor is working properly.
Disengage the harness (11) from the exterior mirror frame. N.B.: The outside temperature sensor is located inside the exterior rear view mirror ( right hand side). Cut the black wires of the outside temperature sensor (12) (at "k") (according to equipment). Remove the external temperature sensor (12) (according to equipment).
