Heyguys. I just bought AC Unity on Steam and I can't make it work. I double click on the game's icon, the 'preparing to launch' message appears for a couple of seconds and then nothing happens. I'm stuck on a loop of pressing 'Play', seeing 'Stop' for a few seconds and then 'Play' again
Iwas able to run AC 1 & 2 on Windows 8, so they should run fine on Windows 10. I have yet to do so myself, but be aware that the first game is prone to crashing. It would be nice if anyone could supply a fix for the crashing on the original game, which was the reason I gave up on it in the first place. #3.
Heres what I did: 1) I verifed the game cache of AC3. Not sure if this is neccesary, but try it anyway. 2) I uninstalled Uplay through Add and Remove Programs. 3) I went to Steam\steamapps\common\Assassins Creed 3\Support\GameLauncher and installed Uplay with the installer there.
Myfriend wants to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla on his PC using Windows 10 1607 (64 bit), but the game just won't launch, even after a clean install (+ DISM + SFC scans). After an update to 21H2, the game works.

Thesame happens if I close Ubisoft connect and double click the AC2 icon that was placed on the desktop. Going to the installation folder C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Ubisoft\\Ubisoft Game Launcher\\games\\Assassin's Creed II and double clicking on AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe only shows the message box, so I think ubisoft
