The praise doesn’t stop with Devil May Cry V gameplay, it continues in the graphic and music department. This game is using the RE engine and with that engine it shows off how gorgeous this game looks and I played it on the base PS4, I can only imagine how PC players, PS4 Pro users and Xbox One X users felt playing this game.

Walker replied that DMC 5 will be at 4K, and at 60 frames per second on the PS4 Pro! Presumably, it’ll be the same on the Xbox One X, given it’s a technically more advanced piece of hardware. Devil May Cry HD Collection is quite the same HD Collection we've already seen on PS3 and Xbox 360, with just 1080p instead of 720p (and without any support for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X - you get 4K resolution only on PC). Game menus and many cutscenes are in SD and 4:3, hard to believe in 2018. But sadly true.

Pun not intended, the Switch version is the only one with official support for in-combat Style Switch like DMC4 and DMC5's Dante. Giving DMC3 style switch option was a selling point for porting it alone to the switch without it being HD collection with all 3 games. But if you can play/buy HD collection on PC ,you can mod the style switching in.
The game proved to be very popular and it spawned a number of sequels. In 2011, the first three games in the series were remastered in HD and compiled under the name Devil May Cry HD Collection. The HD release was made available on the PS3 and Xbox 360. This collection was re-released in 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
