Better than 3 in every way, but similar. Some people don't like it because they played 3 first and it wasn't different enough for them. Maybe consider dropping 3 and buying 2 instead. 2 is a rather different experience. It's an older game, and suffers from some technological limitations of the time. its better then FC 4 since it has no Nvidia CRAPWORK err i mean .. game works BS far cry 3 also if ya remember supported DX 9, 10 as well as 11 ..so that limited the video options as well as performance with the games engine since it had to support so many video chipsets Yes. I started with far cry 3, and then played far cry 4. I think that far cry 4 weren't just as good as far cry 3. And in my opinion, the story in 3 was way better than in 4 and overall the feeling while playing the game was just amaizing. In terms of Writing its roughly the same level, in terms of RP mechanics, Dialogue, Level of research put in to pre-war lore, and exploration 3 wins by far. Fallout 3 is therefore the lesser of two evils in my mind.
I know what my laptop card is capable of. I can run The Witcher 3 just fine, even though that game has higher requirements than Far Cry 4. Far Cry 4 left a better impression on me there, though Amita and Sabal's forced moral greyness choices that end up bad no matter what sort left me not to care so much about it because you have no real effect on things either way. I thought both Pagan Min and Vaas were great, though Far Cry 4 better utilized Min than Far Cry 3 ultimately did Vaas.

TXAA = bad coverage, even SMAA is better quality. HBAO+ = 3x slower than SSBC for a slight IQ increase and poor coverage. MJshZ.
